Finding what Fits

WIW: Hopefully for the last time

I'm so done with this weather!  Today we have ice, around here, we are usually mid 70s at this time of the year.  I'm in spring mode, and the weather is not cooperating!

I did get in one more wear on this sweater/shrug/poncho thing, and a chance to wear these boots to work - which I never do because they aren't exactly dressy, but I think today calls for them.  I don't usually do knockoff boots, but I paid $35 dollars for these real leather fauxFryes 6 or 7 years ago at Target and they keep getting better with time. 

Including a bag shot because this has been my go-to bag since Christmas.

    The dress and belt are wonderful on you! The volume of the sweater over the slim dress really works nicely. R.e. the boots - don't you just love a good buy?

    I agree with Angie (not a difficult thing to do, of course) that this is one of your best.  Love the sleek, but cozy sheath matched with winter rate boots and a great poncho/cardi.  Wear this again.......next year!

    P.S.  Sometimes it's nice to go faux in the slush and muck -- no worries about ruining beautiful leather!

    Yowza! I love the bag and shoes together, and the whole thing really just has some sort of magic alchemy to it. Love the bulky sweater over the lighter dress here.

    Great look!  I would love to have found those boots for 35$, good job!  That is a beautiful poncho/shrug thing.

    I love the poncho with the dress and nothing beats a great pair of boots... Awaiting Spring here as we had sleet expected today, Mother Nature forgot that Spring is just 2 days away...

    The sweater is great; it adds color and the snuggly feeling needed with this weather. I also have those leather boots from Target and I haven't gotten rid of them yet, either!

    Thanks everyone - you all know how to make a girl feel great about a piece that's been on my bad list all season.  The drape of this cardi bothers me the most, but it's one of those things I just had to get over fiddling with. I had to accept that it's not a structured jacket, it's not going to ever drape like they do in magazines, so I just needed to wear the thing and let it fall how it wants and get over it.  I purchased it because it was striking and so unlike me, and then had the most issues loving it because it was so not me!

    You look fantastic. I actually think the sweater adds a bit of spring like cheer to the whole ensemble, despite the fact that you wouldn't really need it if the temperatures were normal for the time of year!
