WIW: Draped top

I picked this up on a whim last week without trying it on (something I never do!).  I love how it drapes in the front and in the back -- I'm not sure if you can see it in my very terrible cell phone pics or not.  I paired it with gold accessories and blush colored shoes w/gold buckles.  Also found my ankle pants, which I am still on the fence about (the length, mostly), I think the shirt makes the proportions of the ankle crop work a lot better with my leg shape.

Thanks everyone!  I think the thing with the pants length is for me to wear a shoe with a bit of a heel. This morning I had on my gold flats and I felt a bit stumpy.

I've been having such a great time with flats this fall and winter that I am feeling reluctant to transition back to my peep toes and wedges!  I am swaying more and more towards "team comfort" than I ever thought I would!

Good styling, it looks effortless.  You are right the top and bottom balance each other.  I need to try this myself.

I like the way the neckline is dark and bookends the pants and the scarf.

Love the top bookended with the blush shoes. I'm no expert on pant lengths but just on the ankle bone (as these are) looks good to me.

What a great top! Very cool draping. Re the pants, I think if you want to wear them with flats you'll need to go a couple inches shorter. Or possibly just above the ankle to be worn with tonal flats (as opposed to nude shades).
