WIW: Camouflaged Clogs

Today is one of those days I just felt like comfortable shoes and loud pink socks. I pulled out the Danskos, tried to shine them up (and it didn't work), so they look completely matte navy blue - a major conditioning fail.  This means they blend in better with today's trouser jeans, and they're not standing out and making people aware that I'm rocking the clogs.

Does anyone else with larger thighs have the problem that your creases show at the bottom of the leg and are completely gone at the top?? I hate that! I love a good pants crease and seeing myself in daily photos reminds me that they don't look as polished as I think they do.

Love the fit of that jacket on you Von and grey and yellow is a great color combo on you. Some days you just gotta go with comfort and the Danskos look just fine.

I'm a "no crease" gal so can't really speak to that.

Grey and yellow look so nice with the jeans. I would never know you are wearing clogs.

    Nice out fit, Von.

I couldn't even tell you we're wearing clogs! I think the pants fit you very well. I never really notice if my pants crease around my thighs, and it's not something that stood out for me with your look.

I gave up on creases back when my dry cleaner kept varying the placement. They just didn't look polished.

I like the matte effect on clogs -- mind if I borrow that technique?

LOL Amy! You can try it, but its probably just my luck that polishing didnt work. I used some clear Frye boot conditioner on navy Dansko Oiled... I assumed it was going to make them look more shiny, but somehow they ended up dull.

Super outfit. Lovely proportions and great fitting flared jeans.

    Meaty portions checking in!
Lots of thigh meat no booty ;-) I completely identify with the crease issue.

I really love the cut of this jacket and the silhouette it creates from the front. The soft yellow perfect with the gray and blue.

I don't mind a half crease on the leg.  The top half still looks wrinkle free so I think polished is reflected for the entire leg even though you have no crease.  I only get a crease on the thigh area if the pants are too big, when mine fit properly my thigh area is always the snug spot.  And clogs, that's a fun shoe, perfect to slip on a go.

Did not notice the clogs nor the crease, just the great combination and that you look fab!

This looks great on you! I do not do pants creases, but in this photo you look very polished. Especially considering it was a go for the comfort kind of day.
